Melissa Leone, RN, BSN, Director of Nursing Operations, Coram Specialty Infusion Services. She has been working in the Home Infusion Industry for over 19 years, in a series of nursing and operational management roles. Prior to joining the home infusion industry, Melissa worked in the Neuro-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital for seven years. Her combined critical care and home infusion experience has provided her with a well-rounded understanding of the strategies necessary to ensure positive outcomes for CVCs, from both the clinician and patient/caregiver perspective.

Kathy Arias has worked in the infection prevention and control field since 1980 and is currently the Director of Arias Infection Control Consulting, LLC. She has infection prevention and control experience in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care, rehabilitation care, ambulatory care and industry. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is Certified in Infection Control by the Certification Board of Infection Control.
